Grand Opening USBC BPAA Bowling Hall of Fame and Training Center in Arlington Texas

I was lucky enough to go to the Grand Opening Ceremonies of the new Bowling Campus in Arlington Texas Monday January 25th. it was a historic event for the sport of Bowling it is the first time all enities of bowling are housed at the same venue. Bowling Hall of Fame USBC (the governing body of bowling) BPAA (the proprietors of bowling) and the new training center are all located under one roof. The ceremonies took place at 2pm under a spectacular sunny sky with about 2000 people. After all the speakers were through we took a tour thru the campus. In the Hall of fame I was excited to look up 2 Kalamazoo Bowlers who are in the Hall George Howard (who I worked with for 15 years at Airways) and Buzz Fazio. All the facilities are first class all the way. If anyone is ever in Arlington it is a can’t miss attraction. Also in the area is the new Texas baseball stadium and the new Cowboy Stadium.
