The Holidays are upon us at Airway Lanes in Portage, MI

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

From all of us here at Airway lanes and Family Fun Center, we want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season! We will be open everyday for your entertainment and enjoyment. Christmas eve we will be open 10am-8pm and Christmas day we will be open Noon-10pm. Call us for specials we would love to celebrate the holidays with you and your family! We will also be having Family Friendly Non-Smoking mock New Years Eve parties all day December 31. These are a great way to celebrate the new year with the whole family without keeping the kids up late. Space fill up quickly so make sure to get your lanes reserved today! After all the family parties don’t forget to come in and rock out the New Year in our crazy cosmic bowl. The party starts at 9:30pm and runs until 1:30am. We’ll be having great food and drink specials both on the lanes and inside Alley Oops Lounge. If bowling isn’t your thing, don’t worry, we’ll also be partying the night away inside Alley Oops lounge with music, dancing, and karaoke.

Karaoke contest finals at Airway Lanes in Portage, MI

A winner was crowned Wednesday November 4 in the final round of our semi annual karaoke contest. Fifteen contestants took the stage in the final round of the contest, singing two songs to impress the judges. We had an amazing turn out and it was extremely difficult to judge such a talented group of people. In all the years we’ve been running this contest, we’re never had such close results. Congratulations to Leslie (3rd place), Zaynee (2nd place), and our 1st place winner Johnny!

Thank you to all who participated, the singers, DJ Tali, our judges, Cheri and Loretta for putting the contest together, Marc and Bubba our fantastic M.C.’s, all of the bartenders and servers, and everyone who came out to support the singers. We hope to see you all again in the next contest.

Round 2 of Karaoke Contest Eliminations at Airway Lanes in Portage, MI

The second round of our semi annual karaoke contest was held Wednesday November 4 inside Alley Oops Lounge. It was an exciting night with staff dressed in their best 80’s attire, many amazing singers, and even a proposal! Congratulations to Josh and Emily we wish you both the very best. Thank you to all of the singers for coming out. Of course this is a competition and unfortunately not everyone can qualify. This week our list goes down to 20 in preparation for finals when the list will be to 15.
