Sport Shot returns to Airway Lanes in Portage, MI

The PBA Sport Shot experience returns to Airway Lanes and Family Fun Center January 2010. It will be held Wednesday nights at 9:30pm starting January 6th and ending March 31st hosted by Josh Powers. Bowlers will play 4 games across 8 lanes. Every session will be cut down to the top 5 with step ladder finals every night. Nightly payouts are estimated at over $200 and pointw will be awarded every night. End of season points pay out estimated at $500*!! No commitment necessary, just drop in and sign up. Only $20 per week.
*Based on 20 bowlers per night

Round 2 of Karaoke Contest Eliminations at Airway Lanes in Portage, MI

The second round of our semi annual karaoke contest was held Wednesday November 4 inside Alley Oops Lounge. It was an exciting night with staff dressed in their best 80’s attire, many amazing singers, and even a proposal! Congratulations to Josh and Emily we wish you both the very best. Thank you to all of the singers for coming out. Of course this is a competition and unfortunately not everyone can qualify. This week our list goes down to 20 in preparation for finals when the list will be to 15.

Gryphon Place Fundraiser Concludes at Airway Lanes in Portage, MI

On Halloween the Gryphon Place had their 20th annual fundraiser at Airway Lanes in Portage MI. The Gryphon Place is an organization that works to prevent suicide and help battered women and children. There were more than 150 bowlers who came out to support this great organization and many bowlers came out in the spirit of Halloween dressed to impress. A total of $32,020 was raised through the efforts of every one involved. Airway Lanes would like to thank all of the bowlers who donated throughout the week. Because of your generous donations, Airway Lanes raised $2,040 for the organization.
